Riley Biederer
Riley hails from Cumming GA and currently pursues her craft as a singer songwriter in LA. Riley returns to the Atlanta market for her first local event since summer of 2021, headling her first show ever at Eddie’s Attic on June 24.
Riley started writing at age 13, and by age 14 was doing three set paid shows all over North Georgia. It did not take long for her to capture the eye of Grammy winning producer Matt Still, who introduced her to Elton John, who signed Riley to Rocket Music Management at age 15. Rocket Music helped her hone her songwriting craft in LA and Nashville and arranged for sessions with renowned vocal coach Jan Smith and local guitarist Barry Richman. At age 16, the GA Music Hall of Fame presented Riley with the prestigious Bill Lowrey Horizon Music Award, and she performed on GA PBS. Sony/ATV signed Riley to a publishing agreement on her 18th birthday. As a participant of Season 9 of The Voice, Riley made the Live shows, with stints on Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani’s teams.
She followed that up with a national tour supporting Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys on his Spring 2016 All American tour and released her debut EP “To You and Me” while on the tour. She followed up that experience by winning the Katy Perry episode of the youtube show best.cover.ever hosted by Ludicras in 2017 and performed a duet with Katy Perry on the show’s finale. In Jan of 2018 Riley used the prize the prize money from best.cover.ever to transition from Atlanta to LA to be closer to the producers and co-writers she was working with, landing with Manager David Margolis of MyWorld Management.
In the summer of 2018, Riley earned her first Gold Record as a songwriter, and she was the featured vocalist on EDM artist Frank Walker’s “Heartbreak Back”, which landed in the Top 40 of the Canadian Billboard charts for almost 50 weeks, peaking at number 8. She released her sophomore EP “heaven/heartaches” in the summer of 2020. She also found more success as a songwriter in 2021, with cuts by JoJo (Spiral), Jimmy Allen (Made for These, featuring Tim McGraw) and Danielle Bradberry (Break My Heart Again). In early 2022 Riley signed an artist friendly recording agreement with the label Preach Records (LA, London, Hamberg) and Riley just released the second of six singles scheduled for 2022 on April 22
